This painting is called Arrest of Melquiades Segura. Mr. Segura was arrested and placed in jail in San Elizario, Texas in 1876 and sentenced to hang. Mr. Segura got word to his friend, Billy the Kid. Billy the Kid rode all night to San Elizario. Billy posed as a Texas Ranger and broke his friend out of jail.
